Why do you try to convert people of other faiths?

Changing one’s religion is usually referred to as ‘conversion’. Our mission is not to get someone from one religion to another. Therefore, we are not in the business of religious conversion.

We share our faith with others. We talk about Jesus Christ and the wonderful things He did in our life. We talk about His claims and we invite people to follow Christ. You might wish to know why we invite others to follow Jesus Christ. That’s because the Lord Jesus Christ commanded His followers to do so. He said,

All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.

First, we have to be obedient to the Lord Jesus. Even if people misunderstand us or persecute us, we still have to proclaim Jesus Christ and invite people to follow Him. Without this, we would be unfaithful and disobedient to our Lord and Master. Therefore, the next time you see a Christian share His faith with others, allow him/her to practice their faith. They mean no harm to you.

Secondly, every person has a right to know about Jesus, the greatest Man who ever lived on earth. Wish to know more about Him?
